Description
TF 1409-1509 DEEPING ST. JAMES BRIDGE STREET (north side) 14/67 No.30 G.V. II Cottage. C17, altered C19 and C20. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Concrete tiled roof with stone coped gables and single red brick gable stack and yellow pantile roof. L-plan. Single storey plus garrets, irregular 3 bay front. The right hand bay is gabled to street, the left hand bay is a former outbuilding now incorporated into the cottage. Central half glazed door having to left a blocked up former opening now containing a C20 fixed light. To right a 4 light C17 mullioned window with cornice, now with C20 single light. To first floor a stone oriel with swept base and hipped lead roof. Originally mullioned now with 3 light C20 wooden window. Listing NGR: TF1495609568
