Description
This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 11/04/2017 Address changed from 14, The Market Place to 14 Market Place. FOLKINGHAM THE MARKET PLACE TF 0633-0733 (east side) 2/83 No.14 30.10.68 G.V. II House. Early C18, C20. Colourwashed red brick, some limestone rubble. Slate roof with wooden eaves and gable stacks. 3 storeys, 3 bay front with first floor band. Ground floor with outline of shop front no longer extant. Central doorway with bracketed pediment, reeded doorcase, plain fanlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by single C20 cross mullion casements with 2 similar casements above, all with brick wedge lintels and raised ashlar keystones. 2 C20 casements above. Included for group value only.
