Description
This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 11/04/2017 Address changed from 29, The Market Place to 29 Market Place. FOLKINGHAM THE MARKET PLACE TF 0633-0733 (west side) 2/76 No.29 G.V. II House. c.1875. Red brick with limestone ashlar dressings. Slate roof with decorative eaves and ashlar dressed off-gable stack and single ridge stack shared with No.31. 2 storey, 3 bay front with ashlar dressed plinth, first floor band and quoins. Central doorway with ashlar pilastered doorcase with plain entablature, overlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked with single plain sashes with margin lights, with 3 plain sashes with margin lights above, that over the door, narrower. All the windows with ashlar wedge lintels.
