Description
This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 06/04/2017 Address changed from 25, The Market Place to 25 Market Place. FOLKINGHAM THE MARKET PLACE TF 0633-0733 (west side) 2/74 No.25 30.10.68 G.V. II House. Late C18, mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble front, red brick return walls with ashlar quoins, some limestone ashlar. Double ridge slate and pantile roofs with stone coped gables, moulded modillioned eaves and gable stacks. 2 and a half storey, 5 bay front with central doorway with semi-circular head, plain doorcase with fielded panelling, plain fanlight and deep set panelled door. Doorway flanked by plain sashes on each side. 5 plain sashes above, all with ashlar wedge lintels. 5 small 2 light casements above. Listing NGR: TF0719733632
