TF 1409-1509 DEEPING ST. JAMES BRIDGE STREET Deeping Gate 14/64 Bridge, over the 6.5.52 River Welland (formerly listed as Deeping Gate Bridge) G.V. II * Bridge over River Welland. 1651. Ashlar and coursed limestone rubble abutments. 3 semi-circular arches, each having 2 stepped chamfered orders with chamfered hoods. Between the arches are triangular cutwaters. To the sides are a plain bands with coped parapet above. On the east side is an 1880 flood mark. Scheduled Ancient Monument No. 151. This building is also listed in Peterborough District, Cambridgeshire. Listing NGR: TF1507109497
