Description
CANWICK HALL DRIVE SK 9870-9970 (south side) 9/16 Lodge to east of Canwick Hall GV II Lodge. C18, remodelled c1810. Coursed limestone rubble and white brick, with hipped slate roof and a single white brick wall stack. Quoins. Square plan. 2 storey. North front, has rubble ground floor with ashlar first floor cill band and white brick upper floor. To the right a 6 panel door and to the left a small plain sash, above 2 large glazing bar sashes. West front, white brick with first floor cill band, to the right a doorway, with central pair of glazing bar sashes and above a larger pair of glazing bar sashes. East front has a single small sash, and a similar glazing bar sash above to left, plus a small fragment of medieval tracery on a plain corbel, presumably from the church. Listing NGR: SK9890869817
