Description
TF 03 NW NEWTON AND HACEBY THE GREEN 6/45 Laundry Cottage G.V. II Cottage. Late C18, altered C20. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, slate roof, single yellow brick ridge and gable stacks. 2 storey irregular 3 bay front having off centre planked door with plain ashlar lintel. To left a 2 light window and to right a single light and a further 2 light window. To first floor are three 2 light windows. All windows are glazing bar casements beneath ashlar lintels. To right the projecting service range is at right angles, with a single gable stack, and contains 2 and 3 light glazing bar casements with ashlar lintels with a small fixed light to the eaves.
