Description
SCREDINGTON CHURCH LANE TF 04 SE (east side) 5/84 Blue Bell House II Former public house, now house. 1770, extended and altered 1818, altered C20. Coursed squared limestone rubble, some brick patching, asbestos slate roof, 2 gable and single ridge brick stacks. 2 storey, 4 bay front with corbelled brick eaves course and ashlar quoins. Off-centre C20 recessed door with to left 2 and to right a single tripartite sliding glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 4 two light sliding glazing bar sashes. All openings have timber lintels. On a common wall stone is the date 1770, and to the left is a datestone inscribed WB for William Burkitt and the date 1818. Listing NGR: TF0947540534
