Description
TF 04 NW SOUTH RAUCEBY MAIN STREET (South Side) 2/93 No. 29 30.6.80 (Sawyer's House) G.V. II Former barn, now house. Late C18, altered C19 and C20. Colourwashed coursed limestone rubble, ashlar quoins, brick dressings, pantiled roofs, single ridge and gable stacks. 2 storey irregular 3 bay front having off centre flush panelled door flanked by glazing bar shop windows, all under a plain cornice. To right a blocked doorway is flanked by single 3 light plain casements under segmental brick arches. To first floor are 2 plain and 2 glazing bar sliding sashes to the eaves. To right the barn continues and there is a further blocked doorway under a timber lintel. Included for group value Listing NGR: TF0266245571
