Description
TF 04 NW NORTH RAUCEBY CHURCH LANE (North side) 2/57 Lych Gate to Church of St. Peter. G.V. II Lych gate. 1912. Limestone ashlar and timber frame with hipped and gabled Collyweston slate roof. Supported on indented angle piers, the roof has cusped and pierced timber framed panels to the gables. The gates have latticed lower panels and plain rails. The sides have unglazed 3 light chamfered mullioned windows. The gate was built to the memory of Maj. Gen. Mildmay W. Willson, K.C.B., d. 1912. Listing NGR: TF0211246410
