Description
LEASINGHAM MOOR LANE TF 04 NE (south side) 8/42 Wellhead to rear of No 18 - II Wellhead. C17 altered C20. Coursed limestone rubble with dressings. Circular plan, standing nearly 2 metres high with an ogee cap. The round arched opening to the north has a rubble arch which has been partially blocked by a rubble wall. This wellhead is similar to those at Digby, Coleby, and Wellingore. No 18 Moor Lane is not included in this list. Listing NGR: TF0586348408
