Description
LEASINGHAM CAPTAIN'S HILL TF 04 NE (east side) 8/35 Hall Farmhouse 31.12.85 GV II Farmhouse. Mid C18 restored. 1874. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof, with ashlar coped gables, and a single red brick gable stack. Flush ashlar quoins, and a broad first floor band. 5 bay. 2 storey. Off-centre doorway, with 6 fielded panel door, and rectangular overlight, with ashlar lintel inscribed 'R.W.M 1874'. Either side are single glazing bar sashes with ashlar lintels, and to the left the scars of 2 blocked windows. Above 3 glazing bar sashes with ashlar lintels, the centre one narrower, and to the left the scars of 2 blocked windows. Listing NGR: TF0561648556
