Description
TF 00 NE UFFINGTON CASEWICK 9/225 Gate piers and gates to Casewick Park, a quarter of a mile south west of Casewick Hall 31. 5. 83 II Gate piers and gates. 1906 in C18 style, by Coldron of Brant Broughton. Ashlar and wrought iron. Pair of gates with straight and twisted verticals, scrolled and curlicued rails and margins and scrolled overthrow with the date of 1906 at the centre. Flanked by square ashlar piers with pilastered sides, moulded base, plain frieze and moulded copings. Ref: Country Life, December, 1964. Listing NGR: TF0733908621
