Description
SCOPWICK CHURCH LANE: KIRKBY GREEN TF 05 NE (west side) 5/36 Kirkby Green Millhouse (formerly listed as 5.2.82 Cottage range east of Kirkby Green Mill) GV II Millhouse. Early C18 and early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with brick and ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with a single ridge and 2 gable brick stacks. Flush ashlar quoins, brick dentilated eaves and plinth. Two storey. Five bay. Off-centre doorway with 6 panel door flanked by single 3-light glazing bar casements all with brick segment heads with ashlar keystones. To the right a single doorway with a panel door and beyond a 2-light glazing bar casement, both with segment brick wedge lintels. Above two, 3-light glazing bar casements, and to the right a single 2- light glazing bar casement. Listing NGR: TF0839357651
