Description
SK 86 NW NORTH SCARLE HIGH STREET 1/29 (south east side) White House GV II Farmhouse. Early 18C. Coursed rubble and red brick. Pantile roof with brick coped gables with kneelers and gable stacks. Decorated brick eaves cornice and first floor brick band. Ashlar quoins. 3 bay. 2 storey. Central doorway now blocked and containing small casement. Either side single 2 light sliding casement, all with brick segmental arches. Above 2 sliding casements to eaves. Interior has chamfered beams. Date stone on north gable inscribed "J.D. 1738. H.S.".
