Description
NAVENBY HIGH STREET SK 95 NE (west side) 1/35 No 32 (Stonyhurst) GV II House, formerly also a shop. Early C18 and early Cl9. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers. 2-brick gable stacks. Flush ashlar quoins. 2-storey. West front had a central doorway with Cl9 rendered porch, now containing a C20 window. To the right is a single plain sash with a similar window above. To the left is a low C19 wing which projects to the street. This wing has a concrete pan- tile roof, and the north front has a half glazed door flanked by C20 casements and a Cl9 plank door to the left, above is a small fixed light. The street gable end has a C19 shop front with a blocked opening above. Listing NGR: SK9882257699
