Description
MARTIN TIMBERLAND ROAD TF 15 NW (west side) 6/23 The Manor House (formerly listed as Manor 1.2.67 Farmhouse) GV II House now restaurant. c1780. Red brick with brick and ashlar dressings. Slate roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers, plus 2 brick gable stacks. T-plan. First floor brick band. 3 storey. 3 bay with slightly projecting central bay, and brick pilasters flanking ends. Central doorway, with 6-panel door and overlight plus wooden pilaster surround topped by pediment. Flanked on either side by single glazing bar sashes with flat brick heads with ashlar keystones. Above 3 similar sashes and above again 3 slightly smaller sashes, all with flat brick heads with ashlar keystones. Listing NGR: TF1195459859
