Description
TF 1089-1189 MARKET PLACE 1/29 31.1.52 Church of St Thomas II* 12C, 14C and 15C with 19C alterations. Parish church of heavily weathered ironstone. Late Norman south doorway with thin shafts and 3 rolls in the round arch, sheltered by deep gabled porch. Nave and chancel c. 1300 with Perpendicular west doorway and east window. Tower c. 1405. All heavily restored in 1862 by the Diocesan Architect James Fowler. Listing NGR: TF1065089227
