Description
TF 1209-1309 MARKET DEEPING MARKET PLACE (north side) 13/165 Nos.5 and 7 (J.R. Callow) G.V. II Shop with house over. Early C19. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Collyweston slate roof having single ridge and gable yellow brick stacks with moulded ashlar cornices. 2 storeys plus attics, 4 bay front having plain plinths, moulded stone string course, wooden eaves cornice with 2 pairs of brackets. 2 half glazed doors, one with bordered overlight, with eared wooden architraves and keyblocks. To left single shop windows, one a tripartite plain sash, the other a fixed 2 light window, both with wooden architraves and lead canopy boxes. To first floor are 2 glazing bar sashes with moulded stone architraves and raised keyblocks. In the roof are 2 gabled dormers, 2 light plain casements with slate hung cheeks.
