Description
TF 1210-1310 MARKET DEEPING CHURCH STREET (west side) 12/143 No.72, (The Manor 30.10.68 House) G.V. II House. c.1800, remodelled and extended c.1830. Coursed limestone rubble plinth, red brick in Flemish bond, ashlar dressings. Hipped slate roof with 2 wall stacks. 2 storey, 4 bay front, to left bay only interrupted moulded ashlar band with above a further plain band and moulded cornice. Off-centre 6 panelled door with curved glazing bar fanlight, panelled reveals, fluted wooden doorcase with key and impost blocks, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Beyond to the left a single 2 storey canted ashlar bay window has glazing bar sashes, moulded string course and cornice. On the lower keystones are floriate carvings. To first floor is a semi-circular headed glazing bar sash flanked by single glazing bar sashes. All other windows have flat rubbed brick splayed arches. To either side of the door are recessed cast iron boot scrapers. Listing NGR: TF1375010130
