Description
TF 1210-1310 MARKET DEEPING CHURCH STREET (east side) 12/128 No.29 (Formerly listed as 30.10.68 The Old Curiosity Shop) G.V. II House. Late C16 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, steeply pitched Collyweston slate roof with large axial stack having brick base, 3 ashlar shafts with cornice and C20 brick top. 2 storey, irregulars bay front having off-centre half glazed door with, to left, a 3 light mullioned window with cornice, to right a 2 storey separately gabled rectangular ashlar bay window containing single 3 light mullioned and corniced windows to both floors, with single side lights. Beyond to the right a further C20 half glazed door and C20 2 light stone mullioned window. To first floor are 2 three light and a single 4 light stone mullioned windows to eaves. All original mullions are ovolo moulded. Listing NGR: TF1379810094
