Description
WESTGATE 1. 1348 (North Side) No 58 TF 3287 2/9 2.11.54. II GV 2. C18. 3-storey brick house with shallow pitched roof of Westmorland slate. 5 windows to each storey, hung sashes with glazing bars in wooden cases, shallow reveals, flat arched brick heads, plain cills. Entrance, originally in centre of this front, is now in East side of extension at rear. Georgian pedimented doorcase. Wide gateway at both ends of the front, crick piers with stone rustications and ball finial. At the East end there is a low linking wall with pedestrian gateway. Nos 44 to 66 (even) form a group with Nos 82 and 84. Listing NGR: TF3253287326
