Description
EASTGATE 1. 1348 (North Side) No 137 (The Manor House) TF 38 NW 1/47 2.ll.54. II GV 2. Late C18 2-storey house in brick with shallow-pitched roof of grey slate, dentilled eaves cornice. Brick stacks at gable ends. Earlier cellars? 5 windows, 2-1-2, shallow central break-forward. Hung sashes in plain wooden cases, flat arched heads with fluted keystones, stucco. Central entrance, semi-circular-headed doorway, simple pedimented doorcase, triangular pediment broken over fanlight; panelled reveals and soffit, panelled door with glazed panels. Contemporary rain water heads and lead pipe both sides of the break-forward. The Manor House and Outbuildings form a group. Listing NGR: TF3315487534
