Description
EASTGATE 1. 1348 (North Side) Nos 91 to 95 (odd) TF 38 NW 1/175 II GV 2. C18 origin, Continuous parapet with sunk panel, originally with guilloche scroll relief, now remains only to No 91. Moulded cornice. 3 storeys, rendered. Rusticated quoins. Painted quoins to No 95. 6 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, the 2 to No 91 being partly obscured by shop fascia. Early C20 and unsympathetic modern shops. Central passage with blocked rectangular ornamental fanlight. Nos 57 to 75 (odd), Nos 79 to 103 (odd) with Nos 2 Vickers Lane form a group.
