Description
EASTGATE 1. 1348 (North Side) No 1 TF 38 NW 1/157 II GV 2. Plain late C18 or early C19 house. 5 storeys in brick. Chamfered quota. 3 windows, carved stucco lintels with keystone, hung sashes with glazing bars. Band at 1st floor window level. 2 windows on ground floor and 2 basement windows. Round-headed doorway with keystone recessed in rectangular Stucco surround carved as stone. 5 steps up to 6-panel door. 2 window return on Upgate. Important position near church. NMR. Nos 1 to 11A (odd) form a group. Listing NGR: TF3268087394
