Article detailing the life and ministry of James Bartholomew Banks, originally resident at Curlew Lodge near Sutton Bridge. Banks established his own fringe Roman Catholic church in Maiden Lane, London. Initially called The Independent Catholic Church, the church was intended to be a commemorative edifice to those who had been lost in the Great War.
