Abstract/Summary
Archive for a historic building survey was undertaken at Poplar Farm, Weston Hills, prior to the demolition of two outbuildings. Both were constructed of red brick, under pitched gabled tile roofs. A north-south aligned two storey former thresing barn, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, was extended with a second room to the north in the 19th century and was later used to house animals. An east-west aligned shed immediately to the west of the barn was adapted in the 20th century into a washhouse and cooking area.
