Abstract/Summary
Archive for the excavation of four trial trenches, dug in the area of a suspected Roman Villa, on land off Scothern Lane, Sudbrooke. The trenches were dug to inform a Heritage Lottery Fund bid for further investigation of the site, and were positioned using the results of previous geophysical and metal detecting surveys. Further settlement features including wall foundations, beam slots and linear boundaries were uncovered.
