Full Description
Several enclosures around Manor Farm, Addlethorpe, were identified by the National Mapping Programme from aerial photography. Four of these enclosures are roughly rectilinear and contain east-west aligned ridge and furrow earthworks. The fifth is long and narrow, and contains a possible mound. Although the ridge and furrow is marked on the National Mapping Programme transcriptions, it is not referenced on the associated printouts. {1}
Medieval ridge and furrow extends beyond the area defined by the National Mapping Programme. It survives as earthworks and is visible (in 2013) on Google maps. {2}
