Full Description
PRN 39083
This row of seven houses was built in 1838, although the east two were formed from an 18th century building. It has recently been gutted and altered externally. There is a panel set in the wall which reads 'NNE 1838' for Noah Norton, the owner and presumably builder of the row. {1}
These picturesquely placed houses are an example of late vernacular style although much of their character has been robbed during their conversion from seven to two houses. {2}
