PRN 71067 During trial trenching in advance of the Lindongate Redevelopment Project, Lincoln, six post holes on the western side of a possible Anglo Saxon structure [PRN 71065] were revealed in Trench Three. One of the uprights within a post hole was dendrochronologically dated and was determind to have been felled in 1130AD. This curving line of post holes may have been a wall or fenceline for the structure. Elsewhere in the trench, medieval roof tiles, animal bone and oyster shell and pottery sherds were found. {1}{2}
