Full Description

This house appears to be of early 18th century date, however it has a large chimney stack at the rear which may be medieval and the shape of the house may also reflect a medieval building. The 18th century rebuilding created a pair of houses with dissimilar plans. The street front is early 18th century and has two ground floor windows which were recently united to create a shop front. The interior includes various early 18th century fittings. {1} This two storey ashlar stone building dates to the early 18th century.
