PRN 38397 [Note - where there is confusion or discrepancy between sources regarding the date of a building, the Royal Commission survey (which is the most detailed and recent) has been taken as the most reliable.] This terrace of houses was built in 1791-92 for the ninth earl of Exeter and is similar to the adjacent terrace, nos. 34 to 36. {1}{3} This three storey coursed rubble building dates from the early 19th century [this is slightly incorrect - see above]. Nos. 37 and 38 have modern shop fronts and no. 39 has a 19th century shop front.
