Full Description

PRN 38389 [Note - where there is confusion or discrepancy between sources regarding the date of a building, the Royal Commission survey (which is the most detailed and recent) has been taken as the most reliable.] This house dates from the late 18th century. It has a reset date slab inscribed '1660' in the south wall. The symmetrical street front has two full height bay windows flanking a central doorway. {1} This tall two storey ashlar house has a high mansard roof and is of early date [this date is probably incorrect - see above]. It has a pair of two-storey canted bay windows. There is an inserted datestone of 1660 and the back wall shows some half-timbered construction. The listing includes an 18th century stone barn and a section of old wall. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {2}
