Full Description

Grade II listed former house, dating from the 17th century. The main gable remains in the centre of the north elevation. One side was been built up in the 18th century when a stone extension with a red brick front elevation was added. This is of three storeys. It has a hipped slate roof with stone lintels with keystone, glazing bars. It has a small 18th century door. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} Unnamed farmstead (Britain House), Bourne. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Dispersed with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings.
