Full Description

PRN 37256 This pair of two storey houses dates to the late 18th or early 19th century, and is constructed of coursed rubble with a slate mansard roof. No. 17 has a modern shop front. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} These houses were rebuilt in the late 18th century by Alderman Robert Hunt as the Salutation Inn. No. 17 is marginally earlier that no. 16 but has been gutted when it was turned into a shop. {2}
