Full Description

PRN 37169 This two storey stone house dates to the early 19th century. It has part of a 13th century crypt with a quadripartite vault on corbels in the cellar. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} This early 19th century house has a medieval undercroft under the north west angle of the building. The interior fittings are early 19th century and of austere design. The undercroft appears to be 13th or early 14th century, based on the corbel decoration. The present entrance is later and breaks part of the vault. There is a blocked opening that was probably the original entrance. {2}{3}
