Full Description

A house, now a public house, built in the early 16th century, with 17th century additions and early and mid 19th century alterations. It was restored in the late 20th century. It was constructed of coursed rubble, with close studded timber framing with plastered nogging, a stucco front and hipped and gabled plain tile roofs. The outbuildings, to the left, have two blocked arches and a blocked ventilator. The jettied east gable has exposed timber framing. The interior contains the close-studded gable of the 16th century building, an oak winder stair, and stud wall with rendered nogging. Ground floor rooms have 19th century vine trail plaster borders to the ceilings.
