Full Description

A cottage dating from the late 18th century ,which underwent alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was originally built of mud and stud, which was encased with 18th and 19th century red brick, and now has some colourwashed render. The building has a thatched roof with single ridge and gable stacks, and two eyebrow dormers with 20th century glazing bar casements. It is single-storey with attic, and has a three-bay front with an off central doorway with thatched porch on slender timber columns and a panelled door. A two-light sliding sash in 18th century brick with wooden lintel is to the right. A single threee-light sliding sash in 19th century brick with segmental head is to the left of the doorway.
