The Wesleyan Society in Wyberton Roads was formed 1822 but the present chapel was erected in 1877. A Sunday School was also held in the building. The chapel closed in 1937 and was sold in 1944. It is now probably used as a store.
The gabled building is built of red brick with gault brick dressings in the window jambs which are also used to simulate quoins on the front elevation. The side elevations are of 2 bays of pointed windows and the window arches are polychrome with alternating pairs of gault brick and red brick. The roundel in the gable is of the same polychrome brickwork. The gable cornice has 2 rows of gault brick separated by a single row of dog tooth in red brick which return briefly along the front elevation at the gable base. There is a plain roundel in the rear gable. The roof covering has been replaced by corrugated iron.The original openings of the front elevation have been replaced by "garage" doors.{1}{2}{3}
