Full Description

PRN 64617 Late 18th century coursed limestone rubble house with 19th century alterations and additions, built for Mr Hoyte, a local farmer. The 19th century laundry house belonging to this house is also listed (see PRN 64616). For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} This building has a plain pattern-book façade and was described in a book of 1793 as "Mr Hoyte's House". {2} Osbournby House, Osbournby. Extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {3}
