The extant former Wesleyan Chapel on this site was built in 1881. It is unclear if the earlier chapel and Sunday school were on the same site. The extant chapel closed in 1987 and is now in use as a house. It is built of red brick with a gabled roof with modern tiles, ashlar dressings and dogtooth and dentil brickwork in the eaves cornices and gable verges. It has a broad three-bay front with a central gabled porch, approached by steps, with a pointed doorway and an ashlar tablet above 'Wesleyan Chapel 1881'. The bays are separated by stepped buttresses and the porch is flanked by pointed windows with ashlar keystones. The are two pointed windows in the west gable elevation and one in the east, both with small circular windows in the gable above.There are six foundation stones and the chapel sits on a brick plinth. The window frames have been replaced and a velux window has been set in the roof. There is flat-roofed annexe behind.{2}{3}{4}
