Full Description

PRN 46018 Earthworks of a ridge and furrow field system were observed on aerial photographs as part of the national mapping programme. {1} Earthworks of a field system were also observed on aerial photographs dated to 1971 as part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh project. {2} An earthwork survey of the ridge and furrow was undertaken by Allen Archaeology Limited in November 2012. Probably medieval ridge and furrow was recorded in two orientations on the site; northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast. {3}{4}
