Full Description

PRN 55231 A buildings survey was undertaken on Greenhill Farm, Blyton Carr, Gainsborough prior to development. The farmhouse was originally built after 1801 but before 1806 when it was sold. The original part of the building is built of 2 inch bricks. A large extention was built with machine made brick, in the mid 19th century. {1} Greenhill Farm, Blyton. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
