A watching brief was undertaken during topsoil stripping on the Lower Witham environment scheme, phase 2 works. Concrete and brick foundations where uncovered in Washingborough and were identified as corresponding to the pumping station shown on the second edition 1906 OS map. {1} {2} {3}
