55086 The Methodist 'Centenary Chapel', formerly Wesleyan Methodist on Chapel Street was built in 1863, as a replacement for one built on Chapel Street in 1838. It is constructed of red brick with dressings of stone at the front and of yellow brick at the sides. The front facing Union Street has three round arched doorways in rusticated surrounds, each with a window above and a pedimented tetrasyle portico with Ionic columns.
