Full Description

PRN 36128 During trial trenching in 2002, two features and a scatter of pottery were recorded. A small pit was found to contain a sherd of tenth to eleventh century Torksey ware, while a north/south aligned ditch contained a sherd of thirteenth to fifteenth century Nottingham green glazed ware. It was felt that dating of the features from finds which may be residual could not be done with confidence. Twelfth to fifteenth century pottery was present across the western half of the site.{1}{2}
