Full Description

Farmhouse and barn constructed in the late 18th century from coursed and banded limestone with Collywestern slate roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Features associated with the construction of the barns were recorded in October 2006, during a watching brief at the adjacent St Andrew's House. These features included the remains of a fire relating to land clearance prior to construction on the site. {2}{3} Ivy House Farm, West Deeping. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the third side of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {4}
