Full Description

Grange Farm dates back as far as the late 18th century, and possibly earlier. The buildings include a farmhouse that dates to 1847, and is constructed in a T-plan shape of coursed and squared limestone rubble with a Collyweston slate roof. It has two storeys and a panel in the gable that is inscribed 'BB' for Brownlow. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of F plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.
