Full Description

35785 The Manor House on Church Lane in Braceborough is a farmhouse, which was built in 1620 with later alterations. It has an attached wash house and trap house. The barn and stables to the Manor House are located to the west [PRN 37469]. Both are L-shaped in plan. The buildings are conctructed of stone with slate roofs. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with four sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
